# Overview

The Chainling DAO will be managed by the Chainling Charmer Community and will decide policies and direction of the Chainling Universe.&#x20;

As the team develops the initial ecosystem, we aim to give majority ownership and decision rights to the DAO with a % that grows over time (moving away from the original team).&#x20;

The initial seed: \
5% of the Chainling Alpha NFTs, minted at a discounted rate, and \
x% of all initial Chainling Alpha sales.
