Chainling Alphas are the purest form of Chainling, straight off the blockchain, and no "Cling" onto any other game or asset yet.
Much like a human being born, Chainlings are born from a mysterious spark when blocks are constructed and grow within them over time. While you can't determine all the traits, you can see the tier of Chainling from the color of the block. What determines the tier is still unknown...
Chainling Alphas may have up to 8 physical characteristics displayed through the visual NFT:
Tint
Eyes
Mouth
Ziptab
Faccent
Hats
Pet
Aura
They are your unique characteristics that you will be able to bring from game to game and know it's you. The descriptions will be included in the metadata so other games can use them. There will be additional metadata, not visually shown, that will serve as attributes and traits that will be optional pieces for game to use.
๐ฌ All Chainlings have a tint, eyes, mouth, and unusual zipper tab. The mysterious zipper tab allows Chainlings to "Cling" and capture other objects, items, or creatures - quite interesting. ๐ฌ Some Chainlings have unique facial features (faccents), like blush, freckles, and scars. ๐ฌ Rarely Chainlings arrive with head gear they've found on their way to you, but it's super cute when they do! ๐ฌ Very rarely a Chainling finds a companion (pet) that follows them around - they're all so freakin' adorable! ๐ฌ In extremely rare cases, a Chainling has an aura about them, you can feel their presence and identify it just by looking at them - how magnificent!
There will be random generated skill scores that can be leveraged as in-game stats, and unique traits that can help further personalize your Chainlings once it enters a game. These will be optional metadata developers can use as they bring Chainlings into their universe. Think of them as base stats, that should be used as a starting point across gains for your characters.
Skill: Range 1-10. While we feel 10 should be the highest value, but really its up how developers integrate these into their games. These typically would be tied to in-game stats.
Traits: Range A-E. Our vision for these don't include any priority and should all be equally weighted. Think of them as options for backstories, classes, guilds, factions or other flavor items that give character or categorize the players.
These again are all optional, but provide some standardization for Chainlings across the metaverse.
